Games that Engage

Mom is the headmistress of our home school, making her the disciplinarian and therefore me the fun parent. So when I pitch in with homeschooling, they expect me to make it into a game. Good or bad, right or wrong, sometimes its better to go with the flow than try to change everything. So I often guide them toward online education games and fun activities that they will do on their own. My career has taught me how critical a strong vocabulary can be, online there are better ways than vocabulary flash cards to build word power. Songs can teach science. Astronomy fun brings out the kid in any of us. I wish they had all this fun online stuff when I was a kid!
